SEARCH FOR ARTS MANAGER

• The Arts Fission Company, a non-profit with IPC status contemporary dance company is actively searching for motivated and capable individual to fill the full-time position of Arts Manager.

• Key job scope includes managing dance company’s diverse range of artistic productions as well as community outreach projects.

• Individual who enjoys creative challenge and has experience managing the performing arts a plus but not mandatory.

• 5 and half-day work week at office located in Cairnhill/Orchard area.

• Renumeration/salary pending on working experience and training qualification.

 

JOB SCOPE & DELIVERABLES:

• Work with Company Artistic Director and initiate necessary planning and executing project action-plan and timeline.

• Assist to source for required technical production professionals and their availability as well as needed production resources or material.

• Work with company finance personnel to monitor project budget.

• Deliver project and close project on time within budget and scope.

• Assist in publicity and marketing tasks relating to the project.

 

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLSETS:

• Communication skills in managing interpersonal relationships and ensuring clear line of accountability among project team.

• Ability for problem solving and adaptability to change.

• Capability in multi-tasking and working under pressure.

• Good organisational skills and time management skills.

• Competency in written and spoken English. Bilingual in Mandarin or other languages a plus.

 

PREREQUISITE:

• Interested individuals must be Singapore Citizen or PR.

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Project Administration.

• Qualification either with specialised Diploma, Certificate, Academic degrees, or relevant working experience.

• Salary range: $2,500 - $3,200
